About Us

Our story began in 1994 when my wife and I moved from Ohio to California. We met in graduate school and got married while I was working on my PhD. Soon after she graduated, she accepted a job offer in Chatsworth, California. As we started to build our life as a young couple in the golden state, a good friend of ours with whom I enjoyed an occasional cigar, suggested that I consider selling cigars in my spare time. An extra source of income while working on my thesis was enticing, so I followed his advice and delved into the fascinating world of cigars. The more I learned, the more my passion grew, and I became captivated by the subtleties and nuances in all the different blends of cigars.

My wife jokes that I had stumbled upon what I was truly meant to be doing all along. Slowly, what was meant to be a side business based on a hobby grew into the well-established and respected The Cigar Hub and Holy Smoke Cigars companies today. We are now one of the biggest cigar wholesalers and Distributors in the country, and we sell to every state and internationally. Our customers appreciate the convenience of placing one order to get everything they need, whether the more well-known brands or the hard to get boutique cigars, at very competitive prices.
